Mareille Lapoint from Ardoch Algonquin First Nation and Dan Bernard, Amikwabe, Algonquin
will both speak about their fight to stop urban sprawl from destroying the
Forest of Beaver Pond a sacred site on Algonquin land. A settler involved in resistance to
the destruction of the Hanlon Creek development in Southern Ontario will also speak.
