May 8: Prisoner Letter Writing Night

Prisoner Letter Writing Night in Solidarity with the J18 Defendants
Sunday, May 8th
6:30-9:30pm

Ste-Emilie Skillshare, 3942 rue Ste-Emilie (not wheelchair accessible)

This event will be in English, whisper translation available.
Open Door Books and the Certain Days Collective invite you for an
evening of discussion and letter writing in solidarity with prisoners’
struggles. This particular event will focus on the June 18th defendents,
particularly Roger Clement who is currently incarcerated after pleading
guilty to the arson of an RBC branch in Ottawa in opposition to the
Olympics and G20. There will be a speaker about the case and ongoing
support efforts for Roger. We will provide letter writing materials and
stamps, as well as information on prisoner support more broadly. Oh, and
there will be snacks!
