BookfairVolunteersSUPPORT THE MONTREAL ANARCHIST BOOKFAIR

We are looking for volunteers to actively support the organizing of this year’s Bookfair! If you can support us, get in touch: info@anarchistbookfair.ca. Here are some specific ways you can support us:

a) Volunteer at the Montreal Anarchist Bookfair

The Montreal Anarchist Bookfair is seeking the support of volunteers who can help with the organization and promotion of this year’s Bookfair and Festival of Anarchy.

There are many tasks associated with the Bookfair, including planning and preparing for childcare and kids activities, Art and Anarchy, workshops and presentations, organizing tables and distributors, various logistics including food, translation, and more. As well, there is the promotion of the Bookfair itself, which includes postering, flyering, online publicity and more.

If you can help volunteer with any of these tasks, please get in touch at any time by e-mail. If you have any particular skills or contributions you can make towards the organization of the Bookfair, get in touch as well.

The Bookfair collective is organizing several volunteer meetings so that we can meet face-to-face and let people know how they can get involved.

The upcoming volunteer meetings will be:
- WEDNESDAY, APRIL 22, 6pm-7pm or 9pm-9:30pm (followed by postering/flyering)
- THURSDAY, APRIL 30, 11am-1pm
- WEDNESDAY, MAY 6, 6pm-7pm or 9pm-9:30pm (followed by postering/flyering)
- FRIDAY, MAY 15, 11am-1pm
- WEDNESDAY, MAY 20, 6pm-7pm or 9pm-9:30pm (followed by postering/flyering)

All meetings above will be at 1500 de Maisonneuve West, #204 (métro Guy-Concordia). The space is wheelchair accessible. Come by at any time in the hours above (whether for 15 minutes or longer).

b) Help us cook for the Montreal Anarchist Bookfair!

The Midnight Kitchen, a radical food collective based out of McGill University, is preparing the food for the Montreal Anarchist Bookfair. As you can imagine, cooking food for thousands of people is a lot of work, so we need volunteers to help us cook and clean up. We will be cooking the Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday before the Bookfair, and we
encourage you to drop by and help out. Volunteering with the catering is a fun way to meet interesting people and to support radical movements in Montreal.

Our kitchen is located in room 304, on the third floor of the McGill
Student Society building (3480 Rue McTavish). Our space is wheelchair accessible.

Please respond to midnightkitchencollective@gmail.com with the time slot(s) that you can come:
